Who We Are
Broad Street UMC has been serving the Port Norfolk community in Portsmouth, Virginia since 1897.
The original church was built in 1898 on the corner of Maryland Avenue and Detroit Street. The congregation moved into its current location at 300 Broad Street in 1914.
Our congregation varies from families and friends who have lived in Port Norfolk their entire lives to those who are brand new to the area.
In this worship space, all are welcome!
